THAT ONE MINUTE !!

It was a random Tuesday night when I along with my mom,aunt and cousin sister were shopping in Delhi’s famous Chandni chowk market . At about 9 pm we decided to head back home ,and because it was first time for all of us in that area I searched in Google maps how far the nearest metro gate of chandi chowk station is ,in order to check if rickshaw is needed or not .

Google showed that gate number 1 is 3 minutes of walking, so we walked as it directed . I still remember the road after omex mall was looking so skeptical that we had to ask the only lady present there ," is there any metro station nearby?" although google was still showing that we were one minute away from the station gate. 

We asked the lady not because we thought we’d never find the metro station or that Google Maps was wrong." but because the last turn towards the station had almost all men standing on the footpath of a sparsely running road dogs were barking and everything was looking like a criminal show scene.

When the lady replied yes , we bravely took the left turn. As soon as we took the turn,the sparsely running road became a silent street . No dogs , no people just a flickering street light. The scene became more intense we were walking like nothing can happen although hearts were pumping like a fast race car , still Google maps was showing one minute away.

Then from far away two policemen came like a bright light , my aunt again asked where the metro gate is They were so kind enough to actually drop us to the gate which was actually one minute way !! 

That one minute of google map was the longest time we have ever experience.
